A graduate level student seeking experience and to advance their clinical skills in a group private practice setting who wants to accrue clinical hours in a private practice setting post-graduation.
21 hours/week
Caseload 12-14 including individuals couples, families and groups
Maintain case notes, logs and all required documents
Write 1 blog per month
Write 2-3 instagram posts per week
Participates in weekly individual and group clinical supervision, weekly intern meeting, monthly team meeting
Assists in the creation and implementation of AGAPE workshops, trainings and seminars as opportunities arise
Marketing tasks for self and AGAPE
In a current MSW, MFT, or MHC accredited graduate program
Must be able to practice as an intern in New York State
A graduate student with at least 1 year of prior clinical experience
2nd year students only
Preferred: relevant clinical work/human services experience before starting school
Preferred, but not required: Ability to start as a summer intern with us prior to Fall/Spring (start May 15/June 1)
Flexibility with weekly time commitment
Comfort networking and marketing
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
At least 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapy
At least 1 year of experience in providing individual, couples, families or group therapy
Organized and able to submit progress notes and respond to emails in a timely manner, and in accordance with AGAPE policies.
